North of Comminges, between Montmaurin , famous for its Gallo-Roman villa and Lespugue, renowned for its “Venus” (prehistoric statuette), are the gorges of the Save .
This 2 km long gorge has been inhabited by man since the Paleolithic (numerous rock shelters).
Today it is crossed by a small road, now only accessible on foot.
Bordered by small cliffs (around 30 meters), this gorge is appreciated for its calm and wild nature.
